Texas County & District Retirement System, Austin, committed a total of $205 million to four alternatives funds over the last month, according to a transaction report on the $17.5 billion retirement system's website.
The retirement system committed $50 million each to private equity funds Garrison Opportunity Fund III, managed by Garrison Investment Group, New Enterprise Associates 14 and EnCap Flatrock Midstream Fund II, and £35 million ($55 million) to AnaCap Credit Opportunities II, managed by AnaCap Financial Partners, a European distressed debt fund, according to the online report.
The pension plan committed about $10 million to EnCap's Energy Capital Fund VIII in December. It could not be learned whether the retirement system made previous commitments to the other managers. Paul J. Williams, the retirement system's investment officer, was not available for additional information.
