Noah Estrin was named senior portfolio manager at fixed-income global macro manager Prologue Capital and Michael Chapey was named portfolio manager.
Both positions are new, said Stefan Prelog, a Prologue spokesman. Messrs. Estrin and Chapey both are mortgage trading specialists and will assist the firm's expansion into this area of fixed-income management, Mr. Prelog added.
Mr. Estrin was head of mortgage trading at Jefferies, and Mr. Chapey was managing director and head trader for RBS Greenwich Capital's agency mortgage trading desk. Information about their replacements at each firm could not be learned.
Prologue manages about $1.7 billion for institutional and high-net-worth clients.
