Lothian Pension Fund, Edinburgh, is searching for an active global emerging markets equity manager to run £200 million ($322 million), confirmed Pamela Bruce, spokeswoman for the £3.5 billion pension fund.
Incumbent Aberdeen Asset Management can rebid.
The pension fund will name as many as 10 managers to a preapproved list, known as a framework agreement, from which it will fund one. Interested managers must register interest before downloading the RFP.
Proposals are due June 7, with a selection expected by the end of the year.
