New Orleans City Employees Retirement System is searching for an investment consultant, confirmed Jesse Evans Jr., director of the $312 million retirement plan.
The retirement system is conducting the search as a due diligence measure. The incumbent, Morgan Stanley Smith Barney, is invited to rebid.
Mr. Evans wrote in an e-mail that an RFP will be posted on the retirement system's and the city's websites Friday. Proposals will be due at 4 p.m. CDT May 25. A timetable for a decision has yet to be determined.
