Aurora (Colo.) General Employees' Retirement Plan will make a $10 million commitment this year to ACE VII, managed by private equity manager Abbott Capital Management.
The board approved Callan Associates' recommendation to make the commitment “later this year,” according to minutes just released from a board meeting last month. The $330 million Aurora pension fund invested about $10 million in two previous Abbott private equity fund of funds.
Thomas Connell, plan administrator, did not return a telephone call by press time seeking additional information.
