Standard Life Investments recruited a three-member emerging markets debt team from Threadneedle Asset Management.
Richard House was named head of emerging markets debt at SLI. He held the same title at Threadneedle. He will begin at SLI in July, confirmed SLI spokeswoman Yvonne Soulsby.
Mark Baker and Nicolas Jaquier will join SLI as investment directors sometime before July, Ms. Soulsby said. Mr. Baker was an investment specialist at Threadneedle, where Mr. Jaquier was a quant analyst in emerging markets debt.
Ella Tekdag, Threadneedle spokeswoman, declined to provide additional details regarding possible replacements. The firm announced last week it was folding its fixed-income team into a new global macroeconomic strategy group.
Separately, Agnes Belaisch left Threadneedle as head of emerging markets strategy for fixed income. She will become head of economics and market analysis at the European Financial Stability Facility in Luxembourg, Ms. Belaisch said in an e-mail.
