Metropolitan District Commission, Hartford, Conn., is searching for an active midcap equity manager to run $25 million for its $154 million defined benefit plan, according to a RFP posted on the MDC's website.
The manager can invest the assets in a growth, core or value style in a mutual fund, commingled fund or separate account, according to the RFP. The contract is for three years with an option for two one-year extensions.
The RFP is available on the commission's procurement website. Proposals are due at 4 p.m. EDT May 14. A hiring date was not specified in the RFP.
