Chicago Public School Teachers' Pension & Retirement Fund is searching for an actuarial consultant, according to an RFP issued on the $10.3 billion pension fund's website.
The selected firm will advise the board on actuarial funding methods and assumptions as well as advise about employer and employee contribution rates and projections, according to the RFP.

Proposals are due at 5 p.m. CDT May 7. Finalist presentations and a hiring decision will be made on June 21. The contract is for five years, effective July 1.
