Geik Drever will become director of the £8.3 billion ($13.2 billion) West Midlands Pension Fund, Wolverhampton, England.
Ms. Drever will replace Brian Bailey, who retires on Saturday, according to an announcement on the fund's website.
Ms. Drever was head of pensions and investments at the £3.5 billion Lothian Pension Fund, Edinburgh. Her duties were given to Clare Scott, who was named service manager for the investment and pensions division, according to Lothian spokeswoman Pamela Bruce. Ms. Scott was investment manager, a role subsequently assumed by Bruce Miller, who was portfolio manager at the fund.
