Alan Papier was named vice president, investment positioning director, at Nuveen Investments' product strategy group, effective April 1.
The position is new, Nuveen spokeswoman Kristyna Munoz said in an e-mailed statement.
Mr. Papier was a principal and senior fixed-income researcher in Mercer's investment consulting division. His responsibilities are being handled by other Mercer colleagues, Jeff Schutes, Mercer's global leader of manager research and wealth management, said in an e-mailed statement. “We will continue to add resources to our manager research team,” Mr. Schutes added.
