KKR, Och-Ziff and Blackstone all currently have market caps that represent more than 10% of their total assets under management as of Dec. 31. KKR posts the highest ratio, with a market cap of $9.9 billion and $59 billion in AUM as of Dec. 31. By comparison, large traditional money managers such as BlackRock and Legg Mason currently have ratios of 1% and 0.6%, respectively.
