Nevada Deferred Compensation Committee, Carson City, is searching for at least one service provider for its $544 million 457 plan and $17 million FICA alternative plan, confirmed Tara Hagan, executive officer, in an e-mail.
The RFP is being issued because of the governing board's requirement that an RFP is issued every five years, according to Ms. Hagan. The plans' current providers are ING and Hartford and both are invited to rebid.
The committee is looking at either a single and dual provider scenario, according to Ms. Hagan.
The RFP is available at defcomp.state.nv.us/NDC_RFP_Final.pdf.
Proposals are due at 4 p.m. PDT on April 30. Finalist interviews and selection are expected on July 19 with a contract start date of Jan. 1, 2013.
