Jill Lohrfink will join Allianz Global Investors as a managing director, head of U.S. institutional sales and client service, effective April 2, confirmed spokeswoman Megan Frank.
The position is a new one for the firm, which oversees sales and marketing efforts for a number of Allianz money management affiliates, including RCM and Allianz Global Investors Capital.
Ms. Lohrfink was a managing director and global head of consultant relations with Goldman Sachs Asset Management. She was replaced in that position by Bob Burke, who joined GSAM from Mercer's investment consulting business, where he served as a senior partner.
