Marc Shapiro was named senior portfolio manager of Palisade Capital Management's domestic small-cap core equity strategy, confirmed spokeswoman Annette Bronkesh.
Mr. Shapiro replaces Jeffrey Schwartz, who resigned to pursue other opportunities, Ms. Bronkesh said.
Mr. Shapiro joined Palisade in 2004 as senior vice president of research for the small-cap core strategy and became associate portfolio manager in 2006.
Replacing Mr. Shapiro is Kyle M. Kavanaugh, who has worked as a senior researcher for the team since 2001.
Both appointments are effective immediately.
