David T. Jiang has been named CEO of PineBridge Investments, effective March 1.
Mr. Jiang replaces Win J. Neuger, who will assume the role of vice chairman — a new position, said spokesman Ryan O'Keeffe. In that vice chairman position, Mr. Neuger will work with sales and distribution teams across the firm to manage client relationships. In addition, he'll advise the firm's executive committee on matters of strategy and management, reporting to Mervyn Davies, chairman of PineBridge's board of directors.
Until October 2011, Mr. Jiang was a San Francisco-based executive vice president and global head of passive, ETF, beta and transition management at Mellon Capital Management. Before that, Mr. Jiang served as BNY Mellon Asset Management's CEO of the Asia-Pacific region.
