Dorset County Council Pension Fund, Dorchester, England, hired Insight Investment Management to run a £150 million ($238 million) liability-driven investment mandate, according to Tenders Electronic Daily, a European procurement website.
A search began in October.
Funding is expected to come from reducing Royal London Asset Management's £339 million corporate and government bond mandate, according to the £1.5 billion pension fund's website.
JLT Investment Consulting assisted.
Cameron McMullen, senior consultant at JLT, and Nick Buckland, chief treasury and pensions manager at Dorset, did not respond to requests for comment.
