Independent Electricity System Operator of Ontario, Toronto, issued an RFP for a consultant to advise the C$325 million (US$325.7 million) pension plan on hiring investment managers, confirmed spokeswoman Alexandra Campbell.
The pension fund recently performed an asset-allocation study and approved changes, but Ms. Campbell said she could not comment on what the changes were.
The consultant hire will be a “one-off” deal to advise in the selection of new investment managers, she said. The plan does not have a general investment consultant.
The RFP is available on the company's procurement page.
Proposals are due by 1 p.m. EDT March 16.
