Bruce Myers and Margaret Chen, both managing directors and consultants with Cambridge Associates, have been named co-heads of the firm’s dedicated outsourced CIO business, confirmed Deirdre Nectow, managing director, business development.
The positions are new.
Cambridge’s work in taking on discretionary oversight of client portfolios has grown to more than $6 billion in client assets, and with demand expected to grow, the company moved to give the business a more formalized structure, Ms. Nectow said.
Mr. Myers has held a series of leadership roles at Cambridge. Ms. Chen, meanwhile, helped develop the firm’s practice area in liability trusts, which diminish over time as claims are paid out.
Ms. Nectow said their respective team members will assume their responsibilities.
