Toby Buscombe was named principal in Mercer's alternatives manager research boutique in London, confirmed Robert Howie, principal and head of the alternatives boutique.
The position is new. Mr. Buscombe will focus on infrastructure and private equity investment advisory services.
Mr. Buscombe was partner and head of the European infrastructure group at Access Capital Advisers. That role has been assumed by Stephen Burns, associate director at Access Capital, according to a news release on Access Capital's website.
