Kern Health Systems, Bakersfield, Calif., is searching for a general consultant for its 401(a) and 457 plans each with $2 million in assets, according to an RFP posted on the Kern’s website.
The selected consultant would work under a three-year contract with the option for two one-year extensions.
Lincoln Financial Group is the current consultant and is invited to rebid, Kate Hall, Kern Health purchasing contracts and facilities manager, wrote in an e-mailed response to questions. The RFP was issued under the system’s policy to bid out their professional services every few years.

Proposals are due by 3 p.m. PST Feb. 17. Finalists are scheduled to be selected Feb. 24, with a decision scheduled for April 13.
