Joan Bozek was named senior vice president of investment products at Prudential Retirement, confirmed Josh Stoffregen, a Prudential spokesman.
The position is new. Ms. Bozek will report to Jamie Kalamarides, senior vice president for institutional investment solutions.
Ms. Bozek will be in charge of Prudential Retirement's “proprietary and subadvised fixed-income, equity, balanced and asset allocation funds,” according to a Prudential news release. “She will also lead Prudential's due diligence adviser process (which is responsible for) “selecting, monitoring and, if necessary, replacing subadvised investment managers.”
Ms. Bozek was vice president, defined benefit product, service and operations, at Prudential Retirement. Mark Zacchio, vice president of operations at Prudential Retirement, will assume Ms. Bozek's duties on an interim basis while a search begins for a permanent replacement, Mr. Stoffregen wrote in an e-mail.
