Jim Irvine will become head of fixed income at Henderson Global Investors as of Feb. 1, company spokeswoman Susan Lakeman said.
Mr. Irvine, who is head of structured products, will replace Mitesh Sheth. Mr. Sheth will assume a new role as director of business innovation and will “focus on products and solutions for future client needs across all asset classes,” Ms. Lakeman said.
Colin Fleury, head of asset-backed securities, will take over Mr. Irvine's responsibilities and retain some of his current duties in a new role as head of secured credit. Both Messrs. Sheth and Fleury will assume their new roles on Feb. 1.
Mr. Irvine will report to David Jacob, Henderson's chief investment officer, while Mr. Sheth will report to Andy Boorman, managing director of corporate services. Mr. Fleury will report to Mr. Irvine.
