Utica College, Utica, N.Y., is seeking an investment consultant for its $20.6 million endowment, according to an RFP posted on the school's website.
The selected firm “will develop and communicate annually to the college an appropriate strategy to meet the long-term objectives (and) assist in establishing overall investment objectives for the total portfolio and for each manager,” according to the RFP. The firm also will “assist the college in all aspects of investment strategy for the endowment fund” and “analyze trends in performance, asset allocation and other objectives.”
The contract will be for three years, ending in 2015, the RFP said.

Proposals are due at 1 p.m. EST Jan. 20. They can be sent either to the Purchasing Department, 610 French Road, New Hartford, NY 13413, or to the Purchasing Department, 1600 Burrstone Road, Utica, NY 13502. Proposals should be addressed to the attention of Bobbi Smorol, director of business services.
Christine LeoGrande, a college spokeswoman, declined to provide additional information.
