West Warwick (R.I.) Town Pension Board issued an RFP for actuarial consulting services for its $33 million defined benefit plans.
The board will consider hiring a single firm with annual contracts for the Pension Plan of the Town of West Warwick (Excluding Police and Fire) and Pension Plan of the Town of West Warwick (For Police and Fire), according to the RFP.
The scope of the solicited services includes an actuarial valuation study and report, recommendations regarding the continued improvement of actuarial reporting and downloading of member data for valuations and consultation with the investment consultant regarding the production of an asset liability analysis among other duties.
The RFP can be found at the fund's website. Proposals are due Jan. 19.
