Indiana Public Retirement System, Indianapolis, committed a combined $80 million to two private equity funds on behalf of two pension systems it oversees, according to a report from the retirement system.
The $15.9 billion Indiana Public Employees' Retirement Fund and the $8.8 billion Indiana State Teachers' Retirement Fund committed $35 million and $15 million, respectively, to Vista Equity Partners Fund IV.
Also, the two pension funds committed $21 million and $9 million, respectively, to TSG 6, managed by TSG Consumer Partners.
Strategic Investment Solutions, the retirement system's investment consultant, assisted in the searches, Jeffrey Hutson, chief communications officer, said in an e-mail.
Indiana Public Retirement System oversees a total of $24.7 billion in assets, including a combined $85.4 million from five other state pension funds.
