Matthew Fine was named co-portfolio manager of the Third Avenue International Value Fund, effective Jan. 1, confirmed spokeswoman Bridget Wysong.
The position is new.
He is a partner at the firm and has been working on the international value fund team for the last seven years. He will co-manage the $1.3 billion mutual fund with Amit Wadhwaney, also a partner, who has managed the fund since its inception in 2001.
He will report to CIO Curtis Jensen.
