Stratford (Conn.) Employees' Retirement System is searching for an active international equity manager to run $8 million, confirmed Steven Roth, director of manager research at Dahab Associates, investment consultant to the $89 million system.
The chosen manager will replace State Street Global Advisors, which was terminated from its MSCI EAFE-benchmarked portfolio because the system wants to add exposure into emerging markets, Mr. Roth said.
The RFP document is available on the town's website.
Proposals are due at 3 p.m. EST Jan. 13.
A phone call to Michael Bonnar, purchasing agent for the town of Stratford, was not returned by press time.
