Chicago Laborers' Annuity & Benefit Fund is searching for a manager to run a global macro hedge-fund-of-funds portfolio, according to an RFP posted on the website of NEPC, investment consultant to the $1.4 billion fund.
The RFP said the search is “to provide further diversification to the existing hedge fund investment program.” The fund's current hedge fund-of-funds managers are Dorchester Capital Advisors and EnTrust Capital, according to the fund's website.
No amount or funding source is given in the RFP. Proposals are due Jan. 9. The RFP did not indicate a selection date.
Phone calls to James Capasso Jr., executive director at the fund, and Will Forde, consultant at NEPC, were not returned by press time.
