Saginaw (Mich.) Police and Fire Retirement System is searching for a general investment consultant, confirmed William McCarthy, member of the system's board of trustees.
The selected consultant will conduct an asset allocation study of the $110 million retirement system within 90 days of signing a contract.
The previous consultant, Yanni Partners, was terminated due to personnel changes, and Citizens Bank is expected to be hired as interim consultant within the next couple of days, according to Mr. McCarthy. Both Yanni and Citizens are invited to rebid.
The RFP is available at the Saginaw Fire Department website. Proposals are due at 5 p.m. EST Dec. 19. A contract is expected to start by March 1.
