Labor Unions 401(k) Plan, San Diego, hired MassMutual as bundled service provider for the $23 million plan, Jessica Barry, a spokeswoman for MassMutual, confirmed in an interview.
“We interviewed many companies and MassMutual was the clear choice” for all the trustees, Jef Eatchel, chairman of the board of trustees for the 401(k) plan, said in a news release issued by MassMutual.
Mr. Eatchel did not return a call by press time.
