Fort Lauderdale (Fla.) General Employees' Retirement System terminated active domestic large-cap growth manager Aletheia Research and Management, confirmed David Desmond, administrator of the $336 million system.
Aletheia, which ran $13 million, was terminated for performance, Mr. Desmond said in a telephone interview. The money will be divided among the system's other managers.
J. Jorge deNeve, senior vice president and general counsel at Aletheia, did not return a phone call by press time for comment.
