Heath Mottram and David Hickey were named directors at Russell Investment's fiduciary management division in London, spokesman Alex Jones confirmed. Both positions are new.
Mr. Mottram was previously head of investment and funding at the £28 billion ($44.9 billion) Royal Mail Pension Fund, London. His duties there have been assumed by existing staff and there are no plans to replace him, according to an e-mail from fund CEO Gerry Degaute.
Mr. Hickey was previously director of U.K. and Ireland pension origination at Barclays Capital. Jodie Gray, Barclays spokeswoman, declined to comment on a replacement.
