New Mexico State Investment Council, Santa Fe, plans to launch an RFP on Nov. 7 for two to four managers to run its $2 billion active domestic large-cap equity portfolio, said Charles Wollmann, director of communications.
The $14.7 billion system will consider value, growth or core strategies. The system's current domestic large-cap equity managers, ClearBridge Advisors, Thornburg Investment Management and Lombardia Capital Partners, will be invited to rebid.
The RFP will be posted Nov. 7 on the council's website.
Separately, the council committed $50 million to private equity fund Platinum Equity Capital Partners III. The system also rehired incumbent private equity consultant Sun Mountain Capital following an RFP launched in August.
