Johnston (R.I.) Retirement Board is searching for an actuarial consultant for its $41 million Fire Fighter and Police Officer Pension Fund, confirmed Joseph Chiodo, town finance director.
The Town of Johnston formed a new retirement board for the fund earlier this year, which is the impetus for the search, Mr. Chiodo said in a telephone interview.
Incumbent Segal Co. can rebid.
The RFP is available at the town’s website.
The deadline for proposals is 10 a.m. EST Nov. 18. A decision is expected sometime in January, according to Mr. Chiodo.
