Oxfordshire County Council Pension Fund, Oxford, England, issued an RFP for a manager to run £150 million ($237 million) in active unconstrained global equities, according to Daniel Reeves, investment officer at the £1.2 billion fund.
Funding will come from a £250 million global equity strategy previously managed by AllianceBernstein, which was terminated for performance, Mr. Reeves said in an e-mail. About £100 million of that portfolio went to a passive strategy run by Legal & General Investment Management earlier this year.
AllianceBernstein spokesman Mark Atkinson could not be reached by press time for comment.
Proposals are due Nov. 25. Additional information can be obtained from consultant bfinance, which is advising. Information about when selections will be announced was not available.
