Virtus Investment Partners will acquire the DCA Total Return Fund, a $104 million closed-end fund, from Dividend Capital Investments, the two firms announced Friday.
Terms of the deal weren't disclosed.
Pending shareholder approval, wholly owned Virtus affiliates Duff & Phelps Investment Management and Newfleet Asset Management will subadvise the fund's respective equity and fixed-income investments, confirmed Virtus spokesman Joe Fazzino.
Dividend Capital Investments previously served as the fund's manager. DCI spokesman Eric Paul couldn't immediately be reached for comment.
