Joan Driscoll was named to the 11-member senior leadership team of New York Life Retirement Plan Services as part of a reorganization, confirmed Sarah Lazarus, a company spokeswoman.
Ms. Driscoll will retain her job as managing director of client strategy. She had been leading the firm's relationship managing team, but now she will have expanded duties supervising four industry segments established through the reorganization, Ms. Lazarus wrote in an e-mail.
Each practice will have its own team of relationship managers, communications consultants, investment specialists, and ERISA consultants, according to a news release issued Tuesday.
Ms. Driscoll will report to David Castellani, senior managing director and CEO of New York Life Retirement Plan Services and a member of the senior leadership team.
Reporting to Ms. Driscoll via the reorganized structure will be James Byrne, director and retirement practice lead for Taft-Hartley; Joseph DeStefano, director and retirement practice lead for financial and professional services; Scott Francolini, director and retirement practice lead for manufacturing, materials and retail; and Michelle Morey, director and retirement practice lead for technology.
Those positions are new. All of the promoted executives will be replaced in their previous positions, Ms. Lazarus wrote.
