Jeremy Cunningham was named senior vice president and senior portfolio manager for fixed income at AllianceBernstein in London, confirmed spokesman Sebastian Kadritzke.
The position is new.
Mr. Cunningham will serve on both the investment management and distribution teams, and will be responsible for growing the firm’s bond business in Europe, the Middle East and Africa.
He was head of global fixed-income product management at Schroder Investment Management. Mr. Cunningham was replaced by Manu George, a product specialist at Schroders, spokeswoman Estelle Bibby said.
