California State Teachers’ Retirement System, West Sacramento, made three private equity fund commitments in the second quarter: $200 million to buyout fund Centerbridge Capital Partners II; $75 million to equity expansion fund Energy Spectrum Partners VI; and $60 million to venture capital fund GGV Capital IV.
The commitments were cited in a report from private equity consultant Pension Consulting Alliance to the $154.2 billion system’s investment committee in advance of its meeting Wednesday.
