Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District Employees’ Pension Plan hired Pictet Asset Management to run about $10 million in emerging markets debt, according to recently released minutes from the $207 million plan’s Aug. 11 board meeting.
Pictet will manage all of the plan’s new 5% emerging markets debt allocation. Funding will come from rebalancing.
Stone Harbor Investment Partners and Grantham Mayo Van Otterloo were the other finalists.
Karl Tyminski, secretary-treasurer, did not return a phone call by press time for comment.
