Michael Beattie was named chief investment officer at real estate investment manager Grosvenor Americas, a subsidiary of Grosvenor, confirmed spokesman Lorin Horosz.
Mr. Beattie succeeds Andrew Galbraith, who was named managing director and head of acquisitions at Grosvenor Fund Management in North America, a vehicle for third-party participation in investments managed by parent Grosvenor.
Mr. Beattie will manage the investment and portfolio management teams in Grosvenor Americas’ four North American offices.
He was Grosvenor Americas’ chief portfolio officer. The position will not be filled, Mr. Horosz said.
