Jeffrey Rosenberg was named chief investment strategist, fundamental fixed income, at BlackRock, and Andrew Swan was named a managing director and head of the firm's Asian fundamental equities team, confirmed spokeswoman Bobbie Collins.
Both positions are new.
Mr. Rosenberg will report to Rick Rieder, chief investment officer of fundamental fixed-income portfolios, and Robert Stanley, head of BlackRock's retail fixed-income portfolio management team. Mr. Swan will report to Quintin Price, BlackRock's chief investment officer for fundamental equity.
Mr. Rosenberg was head of global credit strategy at Bank of America. Bank of America spokeswoman Selena Morris couldn't immediately be reached for comment. Ms. Collins would not say when Mr. Rosenberg will join BlackRock.
Mr. Swan was a regional investment manager and country specialist at J.P. Morgan Asset Management, according to a BlackRock news release.
