Robert M. Richter on Tuesday was named president of the American Society of Pension Professionals & Actuaries and Barry Max Levy was named president-elect.
The new officers will begin their one-year terms on Oct. 26 at the end of the ASPPA's annual conference, to be held at National Harbor, Md. Mr. Richter replaces Thomas J. Finnegan, a principal of The Savitz Organization in Philadelphia.
Mr. Richter is a vice president at record keeper SunGard Relius. He is a fellow of the American College of Employee Benefits Counsel and a member of the Florida Bar Association
Mr. Levy is president of Levy & Associates, a retirement plan administration services firm.
ASPPA represents more than 7,500 retirement plan and benefits professionals.
