Meredith Jenkins and Kim Lew have been named co-chief investment officers and vice presidents at Carnegie Corporation of New York, confirmed George Soule, a spokesman for the $2.5 billion foundation.
Ms. Lew and Ms. Jenkins, both investment officials at the foundation, replace D. Ellen Shuman, who resigned July 15, Mr. Soule said. She left for personal reasons, although Mr. Soule said he did not know of Ms. Shuman's plans.
Ms. Jenkins started working at the foundation as an investment associate more than 12 years ago, but most recently served as a consultant to it; Ms. Lew was hired by the foundation in 2007 as director of investments, the news release said.
Mr. Soule said the foundation is considering how to replace Ms. Jenkins and Ms. Lew.
