The board of the Singapore Fund, a $162 million closed-end fund listed on the NYSE, hired Aberdeen Asset Management as the fund's investment manager, confirmed James Thorneley, a London-based spokesman for Aberdeen.
Aberdeen replaces DBS Asset Management as the fund's investment manager, following a search earlier this year after Nikko Asset Management announced in December it would buy DBS.
