Ohio School Employees Retirement System, Columbus, committed $20 million each to hedge funds Astenbeck Offshore Commodities Fund II and Yannix Capital Management’s Yannix Fund, confirmed Tim Barbour, spokesman for the $10.5 billion system.
The system’s target hedge fund allocation is 15%. Its actual allocation as of February was 13%, and the system hopes to reach its target by December, according to the system’s investment plan.
