Los Angeles City Employees’ Retirement System committed up to $20 million to Blackstone Capital Partners VI, according to a notification to the $10.8 billion system’s board.
The commitment was made by Hamilton Lane, the board’s discretionary private equity consultant.
Separately, the system had a 22.6% gross return on investments as of June 30, according to its preliminary and unaudited fiscal year figures announced in a written release Thursday. No further information was available at press time.
