Mark Miller was named vice president and head of U.K. institutional business at Blackstone Alternative Asset Management, the hedge fund unit of Blackstone Group, confirmed spokeswoman Nicole Meadows.
The position is new. Mr. Miller previously was head of U.K. institutional business at Fidelity International. Nick Birchall, previous head of U.K. institutional client relations at Fidelity, replaced Mr. Miller as head of the institutional business while keeping his client relations responsibilities, said spokeswoman Anne Read.
