Cincinnati Retirement System increased its allocations to emerging markets and international small-cap equities to 5% of total assets each, from 3%, confirmed Don Beresford, finance manager.
The $2.1 billion system cut its international large-cap equity allocation to 11% from 15% to make the move, Mr. Beresford said in an interview. The system’s total international equity allocation remains at 21%.
Existing managers will be used, and no searches or terminations are currently planned. The shift was made because of market changes, Mr. Beresford said.
