Christopher Solarz joined alternative investment consultant Cliffwater as director-global macro hedge fund strategies, confirmed Stephen L. Nesbitt, CEO, in an interview.
Mr. Solarz assumes responsibility for manager research and monitoring from Amy Earle, who left the firm six months ago to pursue other opportunities, Mr. Nesbitt said. He is based in Cliffwater's New York office.
Mr. Solarz was a senior analyst and head of research for tactical trading and relative value strategies at hedge funds-of-funds manager SAIL Advisors. Information about his replacement there could not be learned.
